The 50 mm F2.0 Medium Telephoto Zuiko Digital Lens™ from Olympus® is designed to fulfill your digital photographic needs. This lens can be used not only for macro photography but also as a portrait lens. It includes an ED glass element for enhanced color accuracy and offers a magnification of 1:2 that is equivalent to the life size image magnification size provided by a 35 mm film photo. Furthermore, a large 2.0 maximum aperture makes it excellent for lower-light photography as well. With 11-elements-in-10-groups lens construction and a weight of 10.6 Oz, the Zuiko Digital Lens™ offers versatile, high-quality images consistently and comes with a lens cap, a lens hood, a lens case and a rear lens cap.

"Okay, my arsenal isn't that big to begin with. But this really is a great lens, and it really is the best of my 3 lenses. Color and contrast are amazing. The quality of macro shots are above what I've experienced in the past with any other camera/lens. I've used it for portraits, and for outdoors stuff (buildings, etc) as well as macro. As a graphic designer, I have really high standards. Really high! I would happily use any photograph taken with this lens for any of my projects. The image quality is that beautiful. "
